If you’d like help on what to say, here’s some suggested text you can copy, paste, and personalize:
To my elected school board member:
I support prioritizing funds for public school in Hamilton County. I believe that every child in our community deserves an equitable opportunity for a great education, and that includes access to all the resources they need to be successful. The future of our community is important to me, which means we must all support our students and schools to be the best they can possibly be.
I also want to see our education dollars well spent. That’s why I’m asking you to commit to creating a long-term budget and plan to address our schools’ maintenance issues and need for new school buildings.
I am calling on you today, as my elected representative on the Hamilton County School Board, because I know you want to do the right thing by voting in favor of increased funds for our schools. Thank you for your support to fund Hamilton County’s future.
